Our cases vary. We have successfully assisted clients that were told by their mortgage servicer not to make their mortgage payments to get a loan modification, and instead put into foreclosure. We have also assisted clients that were the victims of fraud and deeded their property to a illegal third party, in the process losing their home. Although it was a battle, we were able to get the clients home back.
Currently, we are seeing, and helping clients that were given a forbearance agreement, which reduced their mortgage payments temporarily. However, they, unkowingly, owed these payments when the forbearance plan ended. When they could not afford to pay them, they went into foreclosure.
We assist several clients by postponing a foreclosure, or stopping a foreclosure.
